This Status Bar runs along the bottom of the Compare Folders window and provides status information.  The Status bar has three sections or panels.  The first panel shows information about the items in the left comparison result pane though sometimes it can display other status messages. The second panel shows information about the items in the right comparison result pane. The third panel shows information about the Include/Exclude filters.
