The Up To Parent button, located between the two comparison result panes on the Compare Folders window, allows you to navigate up one level in the folder hierarchy. When clicked, it changes both the left and right folder paths to their respective parent folders.

•Left Folder Path: C:\Users\JohnDoe\Documents\Project\Reports

•Right Folder Path: D:\Backup\JohnDoe\Documents\Project\Reports

 

After Clicking the Up To Parent Button:

 

•Left Folder Path: C:\Users\JohnDoe\Documents\Project

•Right Folder Path: D:\Backup\JohnDoe\Documents\Project
