Like many other programs, FolderMatch saves configuration, settings, and data details. These files are stored in the FolderMatch local application data folder.
Accessing the FolderMatch Data Folder
To get to this folder, open Windows File Explorer and type %localappdata%\Salty Brine\FolderMatch into the address bar and press Enter:
This will take you to the folder where the program saves the files.
Session Data Files
If you have named sessions, their data files are kept in the Sessions folder in subfolders having the same name as the named session. For example, if you have a session named "Work", the data files for that session will be found in this location: %localappdata%\Salty Brine\FolderMatch\Sessions\Work.
The data files for the default session are not stored in a subfolder of Sessions, they're found in the local application data folder mentioned earlier: %localappdata%\Salty Brine\FolderMatch
Important Note: Editing or deleting the files in this folder may cause errors in the program. |
Note that the Uninstaller does not remove these files. If you want to remove all traces of the program after uninstalling it, you may delete this folder and all its contents.
